About a year ago, a good friend of ours posted a video of a little boy with cerebral palsy using this awesome robotic device with his gait trainer. We did some homework and decided we HAD to get one for Emma!! After months of back and forth with insurance, we finally were able to get them to approve one. Fast forward to December 2022, right before Christmas, Emma's very own TREXO arrived. Her dad built it and then it sat for about 3 weeks before we were able to complete the training. The robotic legs come with a tablet that monitor how much Emma is initiating steps vs the robotics. When she started, she was only initiating 10-15% of her steps. As of yesterday, she has completed over 12,000 steps and has initiated up to 63% of her steps!!!!
